To the casual observer his pictures of empty rooms, friends and urban landscapes might look as trivial as snapshots or the kind of picture that gets taken when film is exposed accidentally at the beginning or end of a roll. A closer look may teased the viewer with hints and suggestions of meaning that are seldom clearly conveyed.
